Even now, he can still remember it so clearly, as if it just happened not too long ago. He could still recall it all, especially the way he felt as it was all happening. How absolutely frightened and enraged he felt, how he wanted to just give up, but he didn't. He held hope throughout their hardships, oh my god did he try.

And their endeavors payed off in the end, it really did. Things would finally calm down eventually, or calm down enough.

So, because of this actual sense of calm that even Eridan can feel, as the two of them laid in the grass of lodag, Eridan looked surprisingly relaxed at the moment, which... even for him it felt almost odd in a way, he was happy.
